I just happen to be a geek who likes cars. I found myself browsing through the cars groups on usenet news quite often, but wanted a way to be able to easily search through them. I found myself archiving the pictures and indexing the keywords from the subjects. As a result would up with several thousand pictures that I could easily browse. When a few friends decided they wanted to look through my archive as well, I decided to make it public. This is the end result.

I tried to make the contents safe by using only newsgroups that that are either moderated or only occasionally get unsafe content. I review what's been posted every day to help insure that. If you do find something wrong, please feel free to contact me.

I have my own collection of cars. Here are a few pics and descriptions in case you were curious.

This is my 1985 Dodge Ramcharger. It is completely stock, but nice to drive. It has all the options including captians chairs. Fuel effeciency was not considered when this rig was made. While it is nice to drive, it only gets about 10 miles to the gallon, so trips in this truck are few and far between.

This is my 1970 Ford pickup. Believe it or not, that is the original paint on it. It has been babied since day one and has under 100k miles on it.

This is what happens to be under the hood of my ford. It is a 450hp 429 that originally started life powering a 1968 Thunderbird. While the truck looks stock, it does not sound or drive stock. Not even a little bit. I have no idea what kind of gas milliage this gets, but since it is purly entertainment I just don't think about it. Yes, that is air conditioning and cruise control both of which work great.

This is my sadly beat up 1985 Nissan 300zx. No turbo, just a fun sportscar to drive around. It needs way too much work and will be handed over to someone else when I feel like it. Besides, the truck is much more fun to drive

Last up is my 2005 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. This is my brutally fast scooter that can go somewhere around 170mph. I've never taken it there, but I have no doubt it can go that fast. It will go 90mph in first gear. I've done 130mph in third gear. The scary part is that 130mph is nothing to this machine. It scares me every time I get on it.

I also have a 2006 Honda Accord so I can easily commute back and forth to work and actually keep the cost of gas down. I haven't got a picture of it yet, but will soon.
